Throughout time, who we are has been shaped by the adventures of people from the past. In this track, students explore the interaction between people, places, cultures and the environment through the ages. They understand that we have the potential to influence the future through the courage of human endeavour. They investigate the power of pivotal moments in human exploration, through imagining, persisting, taking risks, innovating and courageously testing new frontiers.

Dream, Design, Disrupt

Anything is possible in this world, with big and bold ideas, and the right skills, attributes and mindset. In this track, students embark on inquiries to identify problems to be solved, critically analyse and evaluate solutions that exist, and creatively imagine innovative solutions. They understand that disruption can lead to positive and impactful change on a global scale.

Sustainable Futures

An exploration of the importance of sustainability for the future of our planet. In this track, students investigate how changes in the way humans live, and manage finite resources, can lead to improvements in the health of the world and those who live in it. They understand that small changes on an individual basis can lead, collectively, to significant positive impact on a global scale.

Systems Thinkers

Systems Thinkers describe, analyse, evaluate and design systems to help them understand the world in which they live. In this track, students explore simple and complex human made and natural systems, organisational systems and systems of thinking. They develop the understanding that strong systems can make our lives easier and enable us to be more effective and efficient.

Challenge Accepted

Global change agents are aware, engaged global citizens who understand their ability, and responsibility, to enact change to make the world a better place for all. In this track, students learn that small actions at a local level can lead to significant impact at a national and global level. They understand that global change agents think critically, innovative creatively and lead with empathy, vision and a sense of integrity. They learn to exercise their strong sense of agency, and to use their voice respectfully, to positively impact the world and its people.
